Devika Cariapa

Devika Cariapa is a children’s author with a lifelong passion for archaeology, travel and unearthing stories from the past. ‘India Through Archaeology: Excavating History’ was awarded the 2019 Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Puraskar and the Hindu-Young World Goodbooks Award 2018 for best non-fiction book. Her latest work, ‘India Through People: 25 Gamechangers’, is about twenty-five courageous men and women who left their imprint on the course of modern India.
