Khyrunnisa A.

Khyrunnisa A. is an award-winning writer of children’s fiction and the author of the hilarious Butterfingers series of books published by Penguin Random House (Puffin). The series includes three sports-based novels and three collections of short stories. She created the popular character Butterfingers for the Mumbai-based magazine, Tinkle. Her first book for adults, ‘Tongue in Cheek: The Funny Side of Life’, published by Westland, came out in July 2019 and is a humorous take on the day-to-day experiences of an urban woman. Her latest book for children is ‘The Lizard of Oz and Other Animal Stories’ (2019), a Scholastic publication.
