Arthy Muthanna Singh

Arthy Muthanna Singh is a children’s writer, freelance journalist, copywriter, editor, and cartoonist. She has published over thirty-five books with publishers like Puffin, scholastic, Tata Donnelley, Writer’s Workshop, Frank, Ratna Sagar, Mango Books (DC Books), etc. She was in the Limca Book of Records for about fourteen years. She has been helping her mother conduct the Ooty Literary Festival since 2016. Her present occupation is that of a partner with Mamta Nainy in SYLLABLES27, a segment that produces books for children on a turnkey basis for publishers and organizations that work with children, like Puffin (Penguin Random House), WWF (World Wildlife Fund), Room to Read, Young INTACH, Rupa Books, Talking Cubs (Speaking Tiger), Om Kidz and Tota Books (Full Circle). Some of her recent books for Puffin are: ’My Father is in the Indian Army’, ‘My Mother is in the Indian Air Force’, ‘My sister is in the Indian Navy’ (a 3-book set) and ‘Gandhi in 150 Anecdotes’, all brought out by Puffin. Ten books are already out in the market, for the age groups of 4 to 15.
